Avantages

Great pay and benefits. A mission that motivates you to do your best and be part of eliminating every barrier to mental health. Flexible schedule.

Inconvénients

Unclear direction, while C-Suite has regular All Hands/Communications, it all appears as a show that they are keeping everyone in the loop of things. But when it comes to your own team, its unclear even when you try presenting solutions they are stopped and the direction comes directly from VP. Majority of management will appear to be nice and supportive but are ingenuine and will do anything that benefits themselves. They strive to appear as a healthy work environment but its all to shield themselves from negative publicity. BIPOC make a low percentage of their staff in departments other than operations, the DEI Associate Director does genuinely want the company to be as diverse & inclusive as possible but only has authority/influence to a certain level, its all driven from top down.

Avantages

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Inconvénients

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
