Avantages
It is a great place to work out of school. I started a few months out of school and worked there nearly 13 years in several different positions and 3 different business units. The first 5 years were amazing! The company culture was great in the early 2000s. Profit sharing is a plus.
Inconvénients
No opportunity for growth or for more $. Even if you take on more responsibility & grow your business if you ask for more $ and you are selfish. I don't think that is the case but that is what I was told on multiple occasions and simply put "that isn't how things work at ScanSource." Also welcome back to high school - there is a ton of favoritism and if you aren't a favorite you won't have the opportunity to grow professionally. Being smart, dependable, and hardworking doesn't cut it - you just have to be well liked.
