If you enjoy you're "head supervisor" in I.T. walking past you're desk daily at the Addison corporate office, but never acknowledging you as one of they're employees, or even as a human being, but will just stare at you for a few seconds and then keep walking, but then later in the day you see them parading around with visitors to the building in suits, brown nosing these people cracking weak jokes and smiling with these people, then Reece Group U.S.A. is for YOU! If you enjoy starting with new companies, and on you're first day onward, the place has absolutely no training plan for you at all to set you up for any kind of success, then you will definitely enjoy you're time here, this place is for YOU! If you want to work for a company that is entirely unorganized, and has no sense of direction to where the Reece plumbing branches that you will be supporting will call you for things that have absolutely nothing to do with I.T. because the department and people that they are actually trying to reach never picks up the phone, or replies to their e-mails, but they know I.T will pick up, so you get to play operator (outside of you're job duties) and try to hunt the actual people that these people need down, then this place is for YOU! If you enjoy working for a company where "V.I.P's" within the building that you will be supporting will write you a disrespectful, scolding e-mail trying to call you out on how you handled a job process, and cc you're supervisor, not realizing that it was you're supervisor that gave you the directive in the first place, and now those two are going back and forth over the whole ordeal....then this place is for YOU! If you enjoy working for a company that will hire and place supervisor's over you, that you are absolutely SURE that you're smarter than when it comes to I.T. and would never be able to actually teach you anything, let alone do you're job, then again you will LOVE this place! If you enjoy working for a company where on a random Thursday in June, you're I.T. director tells you're team that they are allowing you and you're team to work the entire summer from home, off of you're work laptop and he doesn't want to see you in the corporate office again until August, and then the next day that Friday, you find out you're I.T. director was fired, and then one of the minions to you're "head supervisor" in I.T. comes by you're desk and tells you that starting on Monday, not only are you no longer working from home all summer, they are adding an extra day of 4-days of week in office days, up from the 3-days a week you've been coming into the office since you started working for Reece, as if they took it personal with you and you're team that you're I.T. director was actually going to give you a perk for working for the company! If this sounds like something that you will enjoy experiencing in you're I.T. career, than come work for Reece Group U.S.A. !!!! If you want to work for a company where you hold one of the most stressful, vital, and important roles within the company that keeps the company afloat, but NEVER feel appreciated (not even a cheap box a pizza provided for my team in over 2 years!) just over worked and gaining the new grey hairs in you're head that you've always longed for in life, then you will LOVE this place...it's for YOU!!! If earlier in this testimony you said that you enjoy working for supervisors that you know for a fact that you're smarter than, and can't teach you anything....you'll love this! Imagine said supervisor is also based out of state and has zero communication skills to the point that you don't know if they're sitting at an empty desk a few rows away from you in within the corporate office, or is working from home out of state, until you see them walking down the stairs with "big wig's" from the corporate office heading to lunch around 12:00 noon, and this person never spoke, or made they're presence known to you since you got there at 8:00 a.m., then you will love the leadership they provide for you at Reece Group U.S.A. !!! If you enjoy working for 3 different supervisors within a 2 year time frame with the company, with you're final supervisor being the person mentioned right above this comment, then you will definitely, definitely enjoy what's waiting for you when you walk through the doors on you're first day with Reece! If you enjoy having team meetings every Friday with you're boss where for 1 year straight of you working under them, you receive bad news every time you meet, each decision making you're job feel even more like a Never ending Sinkhole than it already did the previous Friday that you received terrible news regarding you're position to where you feel like there is absolutely ZERO perks of working for this company, then Oh Boy! You will LOVE this place! If you enjoy working for companies that tell you that there is opportunity for growth, but then once they promote you for a very small raise, they also tell you, since they aren't backfilling you're position in the I.T. or ERP department, they still need you to take support calls in you're old role, as well as complete the duties of you're new role, totally making you're promotion obsolete pay wise. You're even more stressed out! but again, if you're into that type of thing.....then Reece Group U.S.A. is for YOU!!!! If you want to feel like a bottom feeder to the company, even though you are basically the backbone of the company, and keeping the plumbing branches operational and making money, so that EVERYONE including the people in the corporate office receives a paycheck every other Friday, then just skip working for the I.T. department and just go work for the ERP support team. You're ERP level-2 team will go to lunch everyday together while sitting next to you, and never offer you to join them as if you are a separate entity, or a fungus or something! If this is the type of team comradery that you've always longed for in you're work career, then you've found the place for you! Reece Group U.S.A. It's also funny that I was told by an anonymous person in management that after I was hired, and already had been on the team for about 1-year already, the "head supervisor" in I.T. asked my boss "What do they do? are they worth the salary we are paying them? totally oblivious to what my job duties were everyday, and pretty much questioned the same thing about my entire team!" after hearing this, I asked my manager to have the "Head supervisor" in I.T. come sit at my desk for a day, and come find out how hard I work everyday, and of course they never showed up!!! Plus my salary was under market value by a lot! The disrespect.
