There is a handful small minority of decent people but their sparkle is quickly dulled

Too many to honestly name, toxic, misogynistic, homophobic, racist company. They’re honestly not worth the time of day to rant they’re so petty, they will drive you to your breaking point just for a laugh. The worst people are the ones that pretend to be your friends but are so scared for a company that doesn’t even like them will never promote them, didn’t even want them in their jobs right now and are actively trying to get rid of you.

Discounts. You do not work on a Sunday in most stores.

Higher management are bullies and liars. In my time, if your face didn't fit, they watched you very closely for any mistake or slip up. On the contrary, illegal behaviour was ignored from staff members who were liked. My age and gender was used as a reason to verbally abuse me, and I saw GDPR ignored in order to ensure more profit was made. You are taught to offer less than half the real value of jewellery. You can pay full value if absolutely necessary, but most customers walk away without knowing they were given far less than its worth. You are encouraged to give loans to customers even when their english is not to a standard where they would understand the terms and conditions. I challenged this and was shut down at first. I pushed more and was told to use Google translate. Staff turnover was horrendous. The lack of stability this caused was chaotic. There is 1-2 leaving every month in a small cluster of stores. Many of the staff I saw leave, did so because of how they were treated. I would never recommend this company. Money is all they care for. Their ethics are entirely corrupt in my opinion.
