Avantages
The pros of working for a private local owner is the hours this is perfect and the location as well to and from work. Often you'll receive small tokens as a gift like company cups, mugs, bags, jackets just marking tools overall as well as gift cards or cash along with cookouts for the entire staff. Love this part it make me feel appreciated as staff.
Inconvénients
The cons of working for a private local owner has been an experience I'll never soon forget due to the maintenance workshop bureaucracy, segregation among upper management and entry level staff while in a hostile work environment daily. The energy on in the shop on a day to day is as if you are walking on pins & needles. You are not allow to communicate with staff in the maintenance shop and if you do you have to whisper Good Morning or Hello, if the upper manager and his co-manager hear you speaking things turn argumentative. And the only person the Head boss protect is his Co-Mgr. never hearing the other side of the disagreement the lower staff and Co-Mgr. conflict may be the Head Boss just automatically jump to the Co-Mgr defense. It seems to be a conflict here in regards to race as well. It's a lower vibrating environment to work in / under.
