Avantages

None to speak of. It's a job and there is health insurance, but that is pretty standard where I live.

Inconvénients

Awful management. Low pay. Lots of micromanaging. No support. No resources. I took calls from provider offices, billers and members. If an odd question came up and you had to ask your lead or supervisor for assistance they would treat you like you were bothering them, they took being unhelpful to a new level. There were times when I desperately wanted to find an answer or help a customer, but our team lead and supervisor were just not interested. It was so frustrating. They could not care less about their customers, providers or employees. Take a job here if you have to, but keep looking for another job when you get hired. This place is awful.

Avantages

Stable company and management with low turnover and very good work life balance. Pay is not too bad, but primarily the good parts of Moda are about the stability. Part of the reason Moda is stable is because you can move around the colony and get promoted. There are people who have worked here for decades. This is a company that retains its people.

Inconvénients

The pay isn’t as high as companies that tend to be less stable. For me the trade off is good, as my sanity is preserved.

a better 401k plan would be good with quicker vesting
