Avantages

Microchip is very conscious in the mindset/culture within the the company. It ensures that the employees have the right mindset to fit in the microchip culture. My personal testimony is because of this mindset, I learnt a lot at work not just technical but also soft skills (communication, coaching, delegation, committing, time management, and etc. Microchip is conscious also in each employees development. Microchip is on-track on whatever personal development its employees would like to develp Microchip has concern to its employee. Microchip is willing to adjust/sacrifice to avoid laying off of employees, give help to employees in need. I consider this company a family that provides, supports and develops not just a workplace. Microchip is implementing down-top organization where employee can comfortably voice out any concerns, suggestions, improvements. Bosses are treated as a coach or respected friends. Microchip is willing to adjust on its employees justified situation (travel, leaves, location, time offs, loans) There are a lot of new opportunities to learn, experience from new activities. (new acquisitions, new products, new opportunities) Microchip is very stable company that will make the employees confident to have job in the next 10-20 years

Avantages

There are a handful of people here who are fantastic to work with, are very knowledgeable, and care about the product that's going out the door.

Inconvénients

Leadership is fundamentally out of touch and appears indifferent to employee well-being. The culture is marred by nepotism and a lack of accountability, where 'guiding values' are preached but never practiced. Feedback is discouraged, and those who speak up are often targeted. Expect a 'reward' of more work for the same pay, as promotions are rare and promised bonuses are frequently withheld despite strong site performance. A very frustrating and toxic environment for those who value merit and transparency.
