Avantages

The CEO himself is a very nice guy who seems to care about his employees Most of the staff is great. Business Casual Environment Nice New Building

Inconvénients

Certain high level managers feel like they have to approve or be apart of everything, but then are always so busy it is hard to get things approved which causes slowdowns. Some Team Leads are inexperienced and lack basic leadership qualities and the ability to communicate effectively. While steps have been made to improve company wide communication and it is much better. There is still a lack of communication between key departments, from managers and team leads down to staff, etc. Advanced Training is non existent. They have GREAT new hire training and have done an amazing job making this both interesting and useful, however, training on things that are more specialized and require outside sources is nonexistent and not available. This results in many lost hours scraping the internet for anything of use when some problems arise or spending your own time and money to seek out the training needed to do your job.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Since LCS has grown quickly it can be difficult to find qualified and trained employees to fill all roles within the organization. However, we continue to work with all of our managers and team leads to ensure our employees have the best possible experience. We have worked very hard to create a new hire training program that is impactful and engaging to our employees. We also continue to release ongoing and advanced training on a regular basis. While we continue to develop our internal training we also offer external training options for employees through conferences, workshops, educational seminars, and online training options. We are sorry that LCS didn’t end up being your long-term home and we wish you success in achieving your future career goals.

Avantages

Work life balance, co-workers that are helpful and never make me feel less than, flexible hybid schedule, a product/mission/leadership I am happy to work for.

Inconvénients

Not really a con since I am not experienced enough yet,.. but I just hope their pay increases match what is being offered in the open market as I progress in experience, I would stay here for life as long as I am not missing out on any financial opportunities that would help make my life more secure.

Avantages

- Good culture - competent managers & coworkers - front loaded 15 day pto, 7 flex days, hybrid 3/2 schedule is a good amount of flexibility for Ohio - some room to grow if you’re a high performer - 3-5% merit raises, low, but consistent - 5% bonus has paid out consistently - the building and grounds are nice and up kept well - chill dress code unless meeting with clients/c-suite

Inconvénients

- poor processes, with little to no documentation on how things work - no one willing to set hard fast rules that are industry standard for tech/software - legacy code with a mountain of tech debt and no sense of urgency to clean it up. This is a key reason why collaboration is halted across departments and deadlines are barely met, as a tough look at the codebase along with changes would create much more efficiency/better product output - do not expect to get paid fair or well here as noted in many other reviews, this is a place to get some YOE & move on - 0 transparency for pay bands or paths to promotion - enterprise software that doesn’t want to pay for internal enterprise tooling. Manually digging up metrics, stretching low tier plans to their limit, no way to see how projects you’ve worked months on have turned out etc - meeting rooms with the cheapest mice/keyboards money can buy - C-suite has openly stated how much hybrid causes ‘scheduling issues’, if another building is purchased expect to RTO or only have the option to WFH on Fridays (if that!) despite our consistent double digit growth
