Avantages
There really are no pros to working at Ciber other than 'average' salaries. However, pension contributions are miserly, car allowance has been frozen for 5yrs or more, and of course there are no decent prospects given the fact the UK operation has lost all of its talent. Those who remain are either too old, sick, or untalented to leave. Honestly, some people are staying simply to get treatment on the private health scheme.
Inconvénients
A good example of management incompetence is the 2015 launch of the new 'Vision, Mission, Brand'. Much time and money was spent on this exercise, including all the usual expenditure on global re-branding and collateral. Of course most of it was meaningless mumbo-jumbo that has no value to clients or prospects ("technology & talent, unique insight, blah blah blah..."). But the most laughable was for 'Vision': a picture of a small dog stood on top of a Great Dane with the caption "to be simultaneously the small company that cares and the big company that can". I kid you not - yes that's right, exactly what you'd expect to see written on the back of a builder's van.
