We, at MOLECUBES as part of the Nuclear Molecular Imaging Business Unit (NMI BU) of the Bruker BioSpin’s PreClinical Imaging division (BBIO/PCI), are a team of 25 people in Ghent, pushing the field of preclinical research to new horizons and contributing to cures for diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's. We do so by building preclinical imagers, CUBES, allowing researchers to perform high-quality SPECT/CT and PET/CT studies without complex system handling and with very limited lab space requirements.

We are an experienced team of driven individuals, devoted to being best of class in our preclinical segment. To support our fast growth, we are looking for a General Manager!

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

As General Manager, you play a key role in defining the future of the company and initiate and implement strategic initiatives. You steer the team with responsibilities ranging from production, R&D, to service, sales, marketing and finance towards success. You breathe the MOLECUBES culture internally as well as externally.

You are a catalyzer for organic growth of the existing business of MOLECUBES

You build a case and implement growth beyond current existing markets
You build further upon the existing strong customer orientation
You understand that people development is key to company growth and invest time and resources.
You develop the local MOLECUBES’ strategy together with the local and the NMI team that sustains the competitive edge. You are responsible for the implementation and execution of it at MOLECUBES
You are responsible for the P&L of MOLECUBES and report to the board on quarterly basis
You work in close alignment with NMI BU towards a synergetic level of integration with Bruker BioSpin PCI and NMI

You report to the head of the NMI BU and work directly with the Business Line Director (in charge of Operations, Service and R&D), the Operations Manager, Head of Sales and Marketing and Administrative team

Qualifikationen:

You have experience in managing a company or parts of it or a broad, 5+ years experience in consulting
You have experience in defining strategies, tactical plans and priorities to reach goals
You have affinity with sales or business development or marketing
You have affinity with financial reporting
You have a love for technology

You are a motivational communicator
You are a bridge builder: you bring people and cultures with different histories together
You speak at least Dutch and English and are willing to be at the office in Ghent often
