FP&A Director

TVH is looking for a strategic FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Director to lead our FP&A team in driving the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis efforts. The FP&A Director will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and actionable insights to support executive decision-making and drive the financial success of the organization.

You will report to the CFO.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development, implementation, and management of financial planning processes, including annual budgets, long-range forecasts, and strategic financial plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the company's financial health and operational performance. Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial forecasts and budgets. Coordinate with functional management to gather input, assess assumptions, and validate projections. Improve forecasting methodologies to enhance accuracy.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and investment decisions. Analyze potential opportunities and risks and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the Global Management Team and other functional directors, operational teams to provide financial insights and guidance. Serve as a trusted advisor in discussions related to resource allocation, cost optimization, and growth strategies.
  • Reporting and Communication: drive management reporting, including presentation towards the board of directors and external stakeholders. Clearly articulate financial performance, trends, and implications for decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting efficiency. Implement best practices in FP&A to drive continuous improvement.

How to succeed / Your Profile

  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong people leadership skills and the ability to coach a high performing team.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis/ controlling , with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and other financial software tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to business strategy development.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
