Benore was delighted to announce the expansion of our electric vehicle (EV) fleet with four additional Peterbilt 579EVs, bringing our total electric fleet to seven. This solidified Benore as a leader in sustainable transportation on the East Coast and a pioneering force in South Carolina! Featuring a range of up to 150 miles, our Peterbilt 579EV fleet operated on thermally controlled lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, we had installed a 150kW fast charger to fully recharge the electric trucks in just three to four hours. Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. has reaffirmed its leadership in sustainability within the logistics and transportation sector. Effective as of 2023, the company integrated two additional Peterbilt 579EV trucks into its fleet, with funding secured through the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) from the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). One truck was facilitated in partnership with the South Carolina Ports, and the second truck was a joint project between the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
