Je travaille chez The Chemistry Group à plein temps (Plus d'un an)
The business takes a personal interest in helping you grow as fast as possible, including the CEO.
Small company, big clients, big ambition. If you show you're capable, you'll get chances to take on significant responsibility, quickly.
My co-workers are some of my closest friends. We're a close-knit culture and spend lots of time outside of work.
Autonomy - your opinion really can change outcomes from an early stage.
Intent and purpose - the business, and everyone in it, truly believes we're making a positive difference to people through what we do.
Feedback - it's candid and well-intentioned. You know where you can improve and aren't prevented from sharing your thoughts.
Integrity - we won't accept work if we don't feel we have a genuine opportunity to help the client, based on what we can do.
Science - if you're interested in psychology, we're taking some very cool and experimental steps forward. Some of the new hires especially blow my mind.
Immersion - be prepared to do what it takes to get the job done. If you overwork, you'll get the time back, but there will be times where you're pushed for a deadline and need to put in a few extra hours (I like this as it reminds me of the personal impact I have, hence it's positive).
The business in 2017 was poorly managed which led to a significant financial dip, that resulted in many staff being let go. With such a formed and close culture, this deeply and rightly upset people in the business and out. Many people in the business, myself included, have since had our eyes set on keeping the business' leadership open and accountable on its decisions. Over 12 months, in a smaller business, I have been impressed by the personal, open and most importantly, consistent approach taken by the business' leadership, both internally and with our clients. I still challenge much of what's said in business meetings (as anyone should btw), but leadership have my complete trust. I'm even excited about the future, which I couldn't say 12 months ago.
Conseils à la direction
Take a moment to focus on what we've done well this year, financially and culturally. Remove barriers that enable us to scale, even if that means a few changes.
