I would’ve put this as an average experience, but the last bit put such a bad taste in my mouth.
I applied online and was invited for a HR screening, which went great. Was invited to speak with a higher up a week later, which also went great. Then I was invited for 3 back-to-back interviews (all in one sitting) with the account management team, which, again, went great. (These were all remotely done btw).
The fourth round is where things got weird. I was scheduled to meet with two people, a senior exec and the office manager. The first (exec) went well, I thought, until as we were wrapping up, he tells me the second guy has to cancel due to an emergency. I told them I was sorry and completely understood, but he didn’t mention anything about rescheduling or what was going to happen next. I followed up a week later with HR and didn’t hear a response until a week later, when they told they hired someone else.
It irked me that I didn’t get to really have a full final round, and on top of that, ghost me for two weeks until to tell me they hired someone else. I think this was poorly handled and there should have been more transparency.
I also read another interview review on here for the same position where they made them do a case study - I was never asked to do one. I think this just shows how inconsistent they treat their candidates and I would implore the hiring team to do better.EntretienWhat would your former boss say about you?
