Overall, I feel like they do not sincerely pay attention to candidate's replies during phone / video interviews. The recruiter reached to me on Linkedin and asked me to have a quick phone chat. During the phone call, her first question was : "Tell us why you applied the role?" I was so confused - they did not recall the fact that I have never applied for this job, but they just invited me for a quick call.
The second stage is Video interview with the hiring manager, which I still felt the same - she did not even listen to any of my answers during the call. After I shared my years of revenue experiences, my implementation progress with ASC 606 compliance in high tech industry - software companies, her reply was: "So your company are selling Hardware?" "Do you have any 606 experience"? I was really disappointed, she did not pay attention to any of my explanations. Then, she just kept asking me "Any questions?" I finally gave up after being very patient to her repeated question. Overall, this is a very un-pleasant interview process, I will not recommend anyone emphasizing on team culture - respect.
