Applied to Yelp after talking to a representative at a college career fair. I had a 15-minute interview where the recruiter asked me a series of computer science questions (various topics but they should be basic if you took any CS courses in college). I moved on to the technical interview, and I was asked a few questions (i.e., why are some websites slow?) before doing a coding problem. The coding problem wasn't extremely difficult (given a number of nodes and a number of edges, write a method to generate a random graph), and I guess I didn't do well enough to impress my interviewer, since I didn't move on after the interview.

Leetcode style interview online via link, then a 1 on 1 technical interview with a lead developer also online where you can ask questions about the role and working at yelp, later more in depth technical tests and finally references and psicological tests.

Nice people but got the vibe everyone was happy with the work as it wasn’t too challenging.

Around 3 different rounds with a mix of behavioural and technical. Last round features on-site which lasts the whole day, where there are 2 dsa rounds, 1 system design round and 1 recruiter round to end the day.
