J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez World Wide Technology (Saint Louis, MO) en mai 2023
Entretien
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, then we did a pone screen. After that, I met with two other Digital Program Directors, then a project manager, and then the hiring manager. Couple of notes for those interviewing - The digital group is a new, small team. It is a different business model than the hardware business. The recruiter called me and said I didn't get the offer, but she said they had another role in mind for me. I asked which role, and she didn't know. I never heard back from them. I did not receive any feedback on why I was not given an offer, though I asked.

Entretien
I just had one phone interview with a recruiter. It was about 30-40 minutes long and a pleasant, informative call. I hadn't heard of the firm so it was interesting.

The WWT HR contacted me, explained benefits and asked for my Salary expectations. I asked them what the salary range for the position was. She declined to share and mentioned they don't have a range but only a salary guideline. At this point I had literally no choice but to share my desired salary range. She mentioned it was within their guidelines. This was a pure trap question and I fell for it. Definitely the salary I asked was more than the range for the position as when I followed up after a few days, the HR mentioned that I did not move to the next round (she did not even care to let me know till I asked). She had told me the interview process and all other details during the HR round, basically, I was almost set for the next round till the salary issue came up. Now, obviously HR will not agree I was eliminated due to higher salary expectations but just wanted to put it out here for the benefit of other eligible candidates. Beware: the salary expectation question is a trap question!! I wished this company was more open about this and published a clear salary range so as not to waste anyone's time.
