Basic interview question, no trouble answering as I had been in a near identical role previously. But, again, I didn't know who I was talking to or if they were listening. As I was getting no feedback or indication of understanding (only keyboard clacks), I found myself trying to paraphrase some technical details in layman's terms, which would not have happened if I knew the 'listener' had a technical background. I can only imagine what nonsense my answer could have turned into as it was hurriedly typed-out, broken-telephone-game-like, by a non-technical person.
