Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.

Applications were accepted in store, and each candidate got to meet with one of the managers. The one I met was really nice and really impressed with me. The next day I got a missed call from the store and called back. They invited me for a group interview.
I was one in a group of 8 people sitting around a table in the locker room. The managers looked a little intimidating, but they were pretty nice. First, they asked us to introduce ourselves and tell them why we chose Victoria's Secret, asked about availability and then started asking questions about past experience and what we expect out of a sales associate. Towards the interview, they asked us who we would choose if we were hiring out of the group, which was really tough because it would be terrible not to be picked at all.
Tips: Speak up and take your time answering their questions. The more you speak, the more they will take notice of you. Dress professionally and in all black.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
