Applied, was accepted instantly, got a single phone call and answered a couple of simple questions on HTML. Overall it couldn't have been more than 30 minutes long and let to an immediate offer which I then proceeded to accept, since this was the only place I applied to that summer.

The interview process included two phone interviews. One gave a basic overview of the branch and the other asked questions about research experience and skills. Afterwards I was offered the position.
Not too bad the process was straight forward. The long background checks make it hard to give proper two weeks. Date slip alot

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez US Census Bureau (Suitland, MD) en juin 2015
Entretien
I interviewed in-person with three managers in my office of interest. They asked questions primarily about my relevant experience and we made friendly small talk. I knew one of the employees on their team and I got the job offer via email seven days after interviewing. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to get through parking and building security and find your interview location; the Suitland building is huge.
