The interview process included several rounds, including a panel interview. I would say it was quite extensive and included more than other interviews I've been on with other employers. There were more people and more rounds.
The way some recruiters represent their company is surely disheartening.
This Recruiter excelled in putting candidate to be left hanging & misled. Dishonesty and lack of transparency summed up the recruiter’s approach. After multiple rounds of interview, the recruiter reached out of his own four days later, claiming he hadn’t spoken to the interviewer yet—this felt odd given today’s communication tools. After about 10 days, I was reassured that all feedback was positive, only to later learn I wasn’t selected. It seemed like the recruiter was simply keeping me on hold while negotiating with their top choice. Hopefully the recruiter reads this and reflects on it so as to avoid his deceitful behavior with other candidates. Also, initial screening call was poorly handled—he canceled, rescheduled, and then turned Teams meetinginto a phone call. It was a late Friday afternoon, so perhaps he was more interested in winding down than in professionalism.
