J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez UCLA Health (Los Angeles, CA) en août 2015
Entretien
I had a really easy interview process because I had a professional connection with my current employer. It was really informal because we knew each other well and the employer knew about the work I had done, was colleagues with my former boss, and I had volunteered for them before.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Very informal questions about my interests and goals. This was an atypical interview in my experience because of the connection.
Basic interview questions with some extensive questions along with the job title and experience. Got a tour of the facility, really cool to see the environment and people you would be working with.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 5 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez UCLA Health en juil. 2024
Entretien
After 4 interviews with the hiring managers (doctors) and the process over 5 months (application to rejection) with team members, 1 assessment, and a follow-up on the evaluation, I received an email from one of the hiring managers saying that they are reassessing the needs of the role within their team. After 2 weeks, the job offer was published again. I understand there was no fit at that time but after 5 months of application process and meetings, I would have expected more details about my application. The positive sign is that everyone I interviewed with was very professionally polite.

Entretien
Parts of the interview were a bit condescending from some members of the lab team. They were based on past work experience I had that were unrelated to research that they thought were unnecessary or spoke to a lack of skill.
