For some high-volume roles, we use one-way video interviews as an initial step in the process due to the volume of applications we receive. This approach helps our team review candidates more consistently and gives applicants an opportunity to share more about their background beyond a resume alone. Candidates who move forward in the process meet live with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional team members throughout the interview experience.
We also understand that this format is not every candidate’s preferred experience, particularly for more senior professionals or candidates who value a more conversational introduction to a company. We appreciate the perspective you shared and will continue evaluating how to best balance efficiency, communication, and overall candidate experience as we scale.
