They called me to their corporate office for the interview. They took all details like notice period, salary, expectations, experience... over the call itself. When I arrived, the interview time was 10.30 am, but I was called in after quite a while, around 11.30 am.
Questions were basic, so there were no wrong or right answers as it was about my candidature completely.
The probable reason for rejection was that, my notice period was 45 days(already conveyed but still they called me) and maybe even my current salary and expected salary (I was willing to negotiate).
Please don't call someone for an interview just to show your management that you're taking interviews, no one from an IT based industry can negotiate much of their notice period, especially HR, as HRs are the ones imposing the notice themselves.
