They ask for a lot of free labor out of you before you get to actually speak to someone about the position you're applying to. Lots of emailing with entry-level recruiters and several trial tasks instead of talking to someone directly involved with the position you're applying for.

Entretien
Giving the interview process a neutral just because the recruiters at Success Academy were nice. I was contacted by a recruiter for a curriculum design role. Went through introductory call, video interview, then task + final interview. The task for the curriculum designer role took hours (5) to complete. In this task you are building a reading list and developing a lesson plan... the whole time I was thinking about how candidates who dont get the role are just giving Success Academy free lesson plans and book ideas for their curriculum designers. I completed the trial task and got the final interview to then find out that the team was not even looking for a specialist in my specific field of study. This was frustrating because they knew my field of study in detail before the interview. Then after that rejection they put me in the application pool for a teaching job, which I got an offer for after 3 days (1 interview, 2 video response, 2 short response). I turned down the offer for a few reasons: compensation, reputation, and turnover are a few.
