Entretien
The Customer Care Specialist/Account Assistant: 831187 job position was posted 2/1/2011 and I applied the day it was posted.
The next morning I received and email stating "while we are impressed with your accomplishments, we are continuing our search for candidates whose skills and experience more closely align with the requirements for the position and our business needs at this time. Your resume will be kept on file for one year and will be considered for appropriate opportunities should they become available."
I thanked the Staples Human Resources prompt response but indicated to them I was surprised that
I would not be considered for an interview based on my previous Customer Service (Multi-Channel Ecommerce) background and additional Computer skills. The second comment in response I had to the HR was:
"Finding employing has been challenging in the stagnant economic recovery. I am really starting to think employers are bias against people that have been unemployed through no fault of their (lay-off)."
I feel I was not given a fair chance. I will be contacting my local politicians and White House that getting employment in this stagnant recovery is difficult.
