The application process for the position of Archaeological Field Technician started online on the Stantec.com careers section. I applied and uploaded a resume and cover letter according to the application process. I received a call from a Human Resources representative within a couple days and was scheduled for an interview the following week. I went to the office and was greeted by the person who scheduled me - who happened to be very friendly, and she told me to wait for 5 minutes for the interview. After a brief wait, I was interviewed by the Hiring Manager who was also very friendly.
The interview was typical, a brief greeting followed by a detailed description of the position, followed by some Q & A.
I had some previous experience in the industry and was offered the position, and very happy to accept the position.
