The screening process was very comprehensive, with a series of panel interviews to ensure the candidate is a good fit for the role's required skillset and compatibility with the organizational culture.

they did not conduct a phone screening. interviews consisted of two virtual panel interviews, one with the immediate team/colleagues/manager and another with the managers' colleagues. there were also a bunch of random calls and emails from the hiring manager. the manager said it would be a quick process but drew it out for weeks, stringing me along the way. while the Stanford name impressed me when applying, the team doing the interviews did not. the application/interview process is a two-way street and i didn't appreciate that this team didn't leave time to ask questions or bother to respond to them when e-mailed after the interview. all in all a poor experience.
