The initial interview took place over the phone. The interviewer was pleasant and polite. They asked some basic, logistical questions about employment and then asked more specific questions related to the job.

I had one of the worst interview experiences at Sprout Social. I probably spent about 10-12 hours between the 2 phone interviews, the assignment, and coming in for a 3 hour in-person interview only to be told I was overqualified. I couldn't help but feel like it was age discrimination (once they met me in-person), because if I really was overqualified, they should have realized that early on in the process and not wasted my time. I had this interview years ago, but it's still the worst interview experience I ever had.
