I applied to Spreetail online and they got back with me within a couple weeks of applying. I had two casual phone interviews before coming into the office for an in-person. The third interview was split into meeting with two groups. The first was more culture-based. The second was a presentation of my past work with people that would be on my team. I was under the impression they would be asking me questions about previous work in my portfolio, but it ended up being me showcasing previous work samples. The individual that would be my direct superior in the interview was disengaged and not fully present during my presentation, which was slightly off-putting. I was drawn to the overall positive feedback about Spreetail on Glassdoor, but noticed the common theme of "no work/life balance," so that is something I asked about in every exchange. All of my interactions were very telling that this was an accurate statement. If applying, I would not get too excited about the untracked PTO. Long hours seem expected here as it is a growing company, which depending on your situation is a personal decision. I was very vocal about work/life balance being important to me, and was ultimately - why I was told - not offered the job.
