J'ai passé un entretien chez Sovos (Wilmington, MA)
Entretien
The process took about two weeks. Initially, the company had me take a pre-employment assessment. Secondly, I interviewed with the hiring manager via video conferencing and took the assessment once more. I was then invited into the office for the in-person interview.
The interview consisted of a phone, Skype, and in person interview. During the in person interview I met with two managers. The recruiter was very helpful throughout the entire process and was easy to communicate with.

It is an interesting hiring process, centered around a lot of assessments. I was contacted via email by a Recruiter to set up a 30 minute phone call. After that they set up a personality assessment and a cognitive ability test. These took about 30-45 minutes. After these went well, there was a Skype interview with the same Recruiter where you once again take the cognitive assessment. I guess the reason for the 2nd cognitive test while the Recruiter watched is so you don't cheat or use a calculator.
The funny thing is, the math is something like a 6th grade level, so basic that I only used a scratch pad on one question. I can't fathom that anyone would ever cheat or ever has. Certainly not enough to make every single applicant to the company retake a 30 minute assessment for years on end. Very strange hiring process.
After the 1 phone interview, 1 Skype interview, 1 personality assessment and 2 cognitive ones, the Recruiter explains that she will now forward my resume to the Hiring Manager. So basically, this entire process has been pre-screening. A day or two later I got the form rejection letter that they had better Candidates, I am guessing the Hiring Manager didn't care for my resume.
It is a strange hiring process and I am sure it severely limits their talent pool, especially on in-demand positions. It sounds like they have done it this way for years, so it must work for them. I am glad I went through it, just to see how other firms recruit, but I don't think I will be advocating for it moving forward.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The first or second question was do you mind taking a lot of assessments. They are pretty up-front about the reliance on these things.
