Met with several people ranging from project managers to the CEO. The process was long but comfortable. Everybody there was nice and intelligent and the atmosphere seemed fun. They supplied a situational writing test of a hypothetical, customer/project situation. Parts of the interview were more like a conversation about interests and hobbies than an interview. It was clear that a cultural fit was just as important as a skill fit.

Interview process was pretty standard and quick. There was an urgency to fill the position right away, so the first step was a call with the hiring manager, then a panel onsite with five different team members. The phone call with the hiring manager was a standard phone screen, but the onsite was an interesting experience. One of the interviewers had nothing positive to say about the company, he informed me I needed to be prepared to walk into a chaotic, unorganized environment. Another interviewer cut off my answers when he felt he had the “gist” of what I was saying. The other three interviewers conducted the interview professionally.
After my onsite, I had another phone call with the hiring manager as a formality. The way the phone call went made it seem like an offer was to be expected within the next week or so. After following up twice, I never heard back. Safe to say there was no offer to come.
I am no disgruntle whatsoever, however I do feel there was no professional conduct for the time and energy I put into the interview process.

Interview consisted of one phone interview and a 3 hour long in house interview which consisted of several one on one interviews. Unfortunately two of the phone interviews got cancelled at the last minute due to client meetings. In-person interview was very long and I had been asked if I would be comfortable going over the three hours. Overall everyone was very nice and had well thought out questions (although one piece was just listening to the particular interviewer). My only grievance was that the hiring manager had mentioned that I would hear back within 3 weeks with a personalized response. Two months later I still haven't heard anything and after two follow ups with the recruiter he mentioned they had gone in a different direction. That's fine, but after making the trek out there and spending close to half a working day to go through the process it was a very frustrating thing to not hear anything back.
