It was quick, introductory, casual and relaxed. We met at the pool, the boss showed me around and showed me how to perform duties. It was more of a formality.
The process was very straight forward and the interview team was great. I discussed with the manager the role over the phone and in person before completing a swim and lifeguarding test.

I walked into the rec center, asked to speak to the building manager, realized my mistake and asked for the aquatics director, asked the director if they were hiring, asked for an application, filled it out in front of him, asked when we might do an interview, was interviewed on the spot and told to send in my resume as a formality before beginning work the next week.
