J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Renishaw (Wotton-under-Edge, England) en mai 2017
Entretien
I was interviewed by Process Engineering Manager (C Walter) and Senior Design Engineer (K Maharjan) on the phone for about an hour, subsequently invited to the Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire site. Both interviews were pleasant and professional. However, despite the apologies for delays and reassurances during in the second interview that I would be informed of the outcome within 2 days, there was no communication from the company or updates on their recruitment website. About two weeks later I received my reimbursement of travel to the site and I took the opportunity to send a polite request for feedback (assuming that I did not get the job). The company did not bother to reply and it took them another 6 weeks to notify me of unfavourable outcome, without providing any feedback. I read and heard a lot about the great culture and respect within the company, but perhaps this does not apply until you are actually IN.

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Renishaw en nov. 2023
Entretien
I applied for the Process Development Engineer position within the Industrial Automation department at Renishaw. The interview experience was positive; the interviewers were friendly, asked important questions, and even provided a brief tour of the facility.
However, my overall experience was spoiled by the handling of my travel reimbursement. Despite being promised reimbursement for my costly trip to Exeter, five months have passed without any reimbursement. The lack of communication from Renishaw compounded the frustration; despite numerous emails, responses were infrequent and unclear, often citing ongoing efforts to follow up with HR. This lack of professionalism leaves a lasting negative impression. Clear communication regarding reimbursement status would have been better than false assurances. Sadly, this experience reflects poorly on Renishaw's organizational culture, making me less interested in future opportunities with the company.
