To begin, this company has been my dream spot for years, I’m in love with the mission! Finally, decided to start applying early 2024. Got an interview, went well in my opinion, the gal even said I’d be a perfect fit for 2 roles but weirdly warned me as if she knew I wouldn’t get hired. Just odd. Turns she was right lol I didn’t get moved on. Fast forward a few months, I’m applying to some really great roles, get rejected across the board. Turns out, Procore is doing exactly what all the other companies are doing, “ghost” job postings. You can even search Procore new hires and compare against the roles they have been trying to hire for and fairly simply deduce that these job postings aren’t real and that they have zero intention of hiring anyone. Which honestly I get, but wow is it such a bad way of managing qualified candidates perspectives of Procore. Hold off on applying until next year, hopefully things will be different.
