Initially contacted by an employment agency conducting a retained search for the company. Met with three members of Human Resources staff, as well as several members of upper management from the Corporate, manufacturing and distribution environments.

Phone interview went great. Recruiter said she wants to pass my application along but the hiring manager is on PTO until the following week so I won’t hear back until then. I followed up. No replies. Received rejection email 3 weeks later. Disappointing experience due to lack of communication and follow up. You should always treat candidates like customers (as they very well may be). It’s ok to not get the role, but the company loses credibility when expectations are made and not delivered.

The company was so interested about me and my knowledge. They fast tracked the interviews and then after the third one, it got strange. I was told “they decided to interview others, but I was still a high consideration.” A week went by and then I get a system generated rejection letter.
I’ve been ghosted on other parts of my life, but it is always rude and unprofessional when it comes from a business. We had great rapport, at least send me a personalized email.
