J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 7 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ogilvy (New York, NY) en janv. 2009
Entretien
The interview process can be quite lengthy. It took 7 months and 5-6 interviews to finally get placed, and that was after I networked my way in with a former colleague from another company who was already working there. They seem to adhere to the 'don't call us, we'll call you' policy extremely well. It can leave you thinking that the ball was dropped with no closure in the interview process.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What's your favorite color? Do you smoke? Do you like to drink? Questions which I think are illegal to ask in an interview. Except for the 'favorite color' - that was just weird. I later found out that the person interviewing me was an avid smoker, and liked to take his team out for drinks quite often.

I met with HR first. Director asked me a few questions about my previous job, but it really was the shortest interview that I have been on in awhile. Director literally gave me a tour of the building.

I landed the initial interview through a staffing agency. I then spoke, one on one, with an Executive for approximately 20 minutes. They were very kind, funny, and to the point. They were interested in my background, my interests, and what brought me to Ogilvy. After chatting, they explained the role in detail, stressing how a lot of it about the nuance of the bullet points required.
