Competency based, safety question x two, two x interviewers, challenges facing National Rail question. Very nice interviewers, put me at ease, hiring manager plus person in current role. No second interview unless candidates are difficult to split.

Entretien
I sent my resume on early June and got invited to a panel interview two weeks later. The panel was very approachable and explained all the process before going into the questions. The recruiting manager then called me a week later to inform I had been unsuccessful.

Question 1
The interview revolves around behaviours, strengths and technical experience. These behaviour are listed in the NR website and the technical questions are not specific but ask for examples where you have used that particular technique. There is also a questions on the security policy at NR.
