Uploaded my application materials to postbac research portal. I was contacted by various labs via email and phone within a few weeks. I was interviewed by phone or skype by staff clinicians, staff scientists or PI for 2 different labs. I got offered 2 lab positions. Interview type and style are lab/PI dependent and not universal across NIH.
