J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Motel Rocks
Entretien
Super easy interview, and if you are contacted by external hiring team, they share the questions with you.
X2 online calls with questions & one in person task. In person task is a bit tricky as it takes place in their office with current staff walking past and nosing.
J'ai passé un entretien chez Motel Rocks (Londres, Angleterre)

The interview process wasn't super formal, meeting the head of the dept was pleasant and it made me feel at ease. The questions were pretty standard for an interview, general about the role and situation based questions. It was less than an hour so gave me time to do it in my lunch hour.

Asked me about my background and what led me to applying for the role at Motel Rocks. It sounded like they are looking for people to fit in with the culture of the office

After I applied for the position, they called me and emailed me asking me to design a full design task including 6 looks and mood boards and research within a very short time frame, without pay of course. After I had done the task and sent them the PDF, they replied they were impressed and set a date for a second interview, I asked for a day off from my current job so I could go for the interview. They changed the dates and times twice, but I still managed to keep my availability for them. However the night before the interview, HR emailed me saying after second thoughts they decided not to give me another interview as they didn't think I "get the Motel", I was very confused as it was contrary to the earlier feedback, all they said in the email is they think my design is not what they want, but at throughout the communication, they were very happy with my previous work and the work I done for them.
It was very disrespectful, and not human at all, not only the constant changes and last-minute cancel but also the lack of the basic decency to meet or call the candidate after the candidate has done a full design task as they asked for, no apology and no explanation and feedback, just disrespectful and rude. I highly suggest avoiding the company.
