Pathetic and A Deeply Unprofessional Recruitment Experience at Moon Technolabs
My experience with Moon Technolabs was nothing short of a nightmare — a textbook example of how not to treat potential candidates, especially for a senior-level position.
In July 2024, I was interviewed for a Lead QA position. I successfully cleared three rounds — a technical interview, a practical round, and an HR round. Salary discussions were done, terms were mutually agreed upon, and I was told to wait for the final CEO round. I waited patiently and followed up multiple times, but that round never happened. After a month of complete silence, I was informed via WhatsApp (not even a call or formal email) that they had selected someone else. It was highly unprofessional, but I chose to remain courteous and responded politely.
A month later, I was contacted again by one of their HR representatives saying the position was “on hold” earlier and now reopened — I was only required to give the CEO round. I agreed, hoping this time would be different. But yet again, no one showed up for the scheduled interview. Upon asking, I was told the Lead position was no longer available, but I could be considered for a Senior role.
Despite the demotion and emotional toll, I agreed and asked about salary. After two more days of delay, I was informed that there would be no hike. I was jobless and mentally exhausted, so I agreed once again. But then they came back saying the salary would actually be ₹1,000 less than my current CTC. And again, I said yes.
Then, in the most shocking and humiliating twist, I was called to their office the same evening to collect the offer letter — only to be told in person that the position had now been closed from the client’s side.
This entire ordeal spanned over two and a half months, during which I was manipulated, ghosted, misled, and ultimately disrespected.
