J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft (Chicago, IL) en déc. 2012
Entretien
I know someone that works at Microsoft, so I asked them to forward my resume to a recruiter which they did. A few weeks later, I was contacted by phone to set up a phone interview with the recruiter.
The interview was about 30 minutes long and consisted of a marketing case study. They asked me to describe what product I would like to market and to outline a marketing strategy for the product. Then they introduced different scenarios that would happen throughout the life cycle of the marketing campaign and asked how I would react.
Then they allowed me to ask questions about the position and the company.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft (Seattle, WA) en févr. 2022

Straightforward. Done in one day. Long waiting period to get any answer back. Polite interview panel. Recruiters need to be more up to speed with questions. Would recommend to interview for Microsoft to anyone.
The recruiters seem very on top of their game, very responsive and send materials to help prepare for interviews. It seems to be reflective in the culture of the company, all good signs.

It was a very smooth process. The hiring manager was super nice and helpful, and so were the following interviews. The recruiter, however, was super unhelpful and a bit posh on the post-interview.
