I was called two weeks before the interview. It was basically an instant hire for seasonal, the store manager didn't even do any training or orientation, never did a W4 was just given a packet of information and hired. The store manager randomly assigned positions based upon no factors whatsoever. She would hire people with no cashiering experience and put them on the register. While taking people with register experience and put them in the backroom.

Done over the phone, just a simple phone screening talking with the Store Manager. It was fairly short, only around 15-20 minutes. The manager asked about experience on my resume, as well as my availability.

Easy. I walked in the store to ask if they had any job openings, and the manager interviewed me on the spot, and offered me a job. I submitted an application afterwards.
