This was an internal hire, so the process was more organic. I spoke to HR, and the same day I spoke to the hiring manager. The very next day, I spoke to 2 of my would-be colleages just to make sure we "clicked". Everyone was terrific.

Would you think you're more of a "starting from scratch" person or "improving on established systems" person?
Initial interview with recruiting. Then talked to hiring manager on the phone. Next was the in person interview where I met several people for a half hour each.
