After reading an article in our local newspaper about Malouf before they opened the DC in Ohio, I have been following them on LinkedIn and watching various career sites for openings.
Amanda Hennessy in HR is incredibly kind, and I felt her rooting for me from the moment I first spoke with her. She says what she will do and does what she says, establishing the culture of integrity from the beginning.
The phone interview with Amanda and Ryan lasted about 30 minutes. In addition to them assessing my experience and leadership style, Ryan explained the scope of the position in detail and answered all of my questions. This is important to me because just as a company never wants to make a wrong hire, it is equally important to ensure the company and leadership are a good match for me.
The in person panel interview with five people was also brief--about 30 minutes, and a comprehensive tour followed. Every person was incredibly kind, transparent, and thorough; every interaction reinforced how much I want to work for this company.
The pillow given at the interview was also a nice touch.
