LONG. I had a initial phone screening that was awesome. came in 2 weeks later to meet with 2 managers including the hiring manager and it was again awesome. a week later I meet with the director of the department through zoom and it was quick 10 minute wonderful conversation. 1 week later i meet with my direct report through zoom and it was great. then we had a back and forth email with HR. it looks like they had a specific number in mind to offer and I had another. the HR person said, if we offer you $_ is it a "deal breaker" I didn't want to say yes, so I accepted their low offer. one week later I get a offer letter which I signed and here we are today.
