Following an initial interview, I was requested to complete an unpaid take-home assignment within a tight deadline of one day. Committed to the opportunity, I diligently completed the task and submitted it. I was informed that they would reach out to me regarding the next step but I didn't hear anything back for a while so I contacted them regarding the status and was told that they will check and get back to me which they didn't. After trying to contact multiple time and I always got the same answer and I stopped contacting. I'm disappointed that the company doesn't respect candidates time and energy and just ghost them.
