J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lucid Motors (Newark, CA) en mars 2019
Entretien
Interview was taken by vishal who is the head of EE systems at Lucid.questions on wire harness and some very irrelevent questions on stress/strain, the problem was the inetrviewer did not know the answers himself. The interviewer just wanted to hear what he already knew. I don't think they have any intention of hiring smart candidates or anybody smarter than them.

Interviewed remotely for a design engineer position but got ghosted. This was my second time interviewing at Lucid, and the first time was also a mess in terms of coordination. Applied through the website and was contacted by a recruiter a few days later to setup an initial phone screen. Got a basic description of the job and then some questions on relocation, salary expectations, etc. They said they'd relay the info to the hiring team and then a week after, a different recruiter followed up with another phone screen, and asked similar questions as well as some additional technical info regarding what kind of materials I've worked with, and my experience related to the role. The next step was a 45 minute Zoom call with a senior engineer, where I was asked about my past experiences followed by some technical questions. I was moved forward for the next step, which was a call with the manager. Ended up getting no showed TWO times and eventually got ghosted.
Everyone I talked to went on about how the company is in rapid growth mode and that they were able to go from 900 employees before Covid to now almost 3000 employees. I'm surprised they were able to grow in headcount by that much given how slow they were to respond, and overall I got the impression that they did not genuinely care about moving me forward through the interview process. This has left a bitter taste and I don’t think I will be applying here again. I interviewed previously with Lucid in 2019, and even then the process was not very professional. The recruiter had told me three separate times that they would like to invite me for an onsite interview, and each time this was followed by another email not long after to state that there had been a mistake. Fast forward to 2 months ago, I decided to apply again, given Lucid seemed to be gaining traction, especially with the merger with CCIV which had just been confirmed at the time.
If anyone is to apply here, I highly recommend you to also consider other opportunities in parallel. Don’t let this be your only option. No-shows and ghosting seems to be a common theme here, and their lack of respect for candidates' time is just plain rude and unprofessional.
