Shortest interview I've ever done. They called me, we chatted for 5 minutes, and they invited me to come interview in person. The interview was barely 5 minutes too! It can be a pain to get your foot in the door here, as I felt I was getting the runaround as I tried to submit my resume not just online but in person. Probably because they were transitioning to new managers in the department, which I didn't know until I was hired. Once you're in, the process is pretty easy. They're just trying to find out if you're personable, have some serving experience and social skills, and are generally reliable, and not a total creeper. It really helps to have an employee referral here! Kimpton does most of their hiring this way, or in-house.
