I had a very disappointing experience with JnJ Analytics Team at Pune Location. I got shortlisted for interview for the position of Senior Data Analyst in Feb 2020. Since then I went through couple of discussions. First one was Telephonic, then they called me to their Office in Pune(from Mumbai) for In-Person interview where they have taken Technical test and I also got to interact with various senior leaders in Analytics Team. Post that after 3-4 weeks I was informed that they really liked my profile and want to consider me for different role in the Analytics Team, so I agreed and they again scheduled few more interview rounds with On-shore folks. Once this was done there was no communication from Talen Folks about the status of my Job Application. I even wrote couple of emails asking them for the update, but they didn’t bothered to respond. So there even I decided to writing final email to the Hiring Manager for Analytics Team and then he said that there is delay in process and they will get back to me soon. Again after waiting for 2 months I asked for the update via email but no response from HR, so this was when I thought to take follow-up from them. Surprisingly after 2-3 weeks, one day I got a Whatsapp message from the HR asking have I took any other job or am I still interested in the pursing career with them. This time also I agreed thinking may be now there would be no further delay and things will go smoothly. Here when HR called me and told that we would like to consider you for the old profile again as the current position is on hold and we don’t want to lose your profile and for that you have to go for one last round of interview with our Analytics Team Head, then they scheduled the Skype meeting and I had a very good discussion with him and he said over the call that we will SOON update you for the next step and now it’s been 3 weeks and again as always I dropped a checkin email to HR and of course to which she didn’t respond. So here the point is I was getting interviewed since last 8 MONTHS with such a BIG FIRM for a role of Senior Data Analyst for which I had 6-7 round of interviews, every discussion was of more than 1.5 hrs with very senior leaders from the JnJ Analytics Team and they are still not able to decide whether they to hire a person or no. And yes, not to forget about the HR people of this BIG FIRM who didn’t even bother to give update to their Candidates.
